Mental Health Awareness

Through Thorns of Pain Comes a Story of Hope

We’re on a mission to normalize the conversation around mental health. Tom, like many others, faced challenges with his mental health along with the stigma surrounding it. Tom’s Walk creates a safe space to learn about these struggles and how we can offer meaningful support.

What began as a walk in memory of Tom has transformed into a community event that brings hope to those affected by mental health issues and provides valuable resources for those wanting to help. One of these vital resources is SILA Skills, a Canadian non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals to build resilience and foster better connections among colleagues and those they serve through engaging seminars and workshops.

Your donations to Tom’s Walk directly support SILA Skills, empowering those on the frontlines and parents to provide the best care possible to others. We truly appreciate your participation.

Join us in this journey. Walk with us. Give with us. Together, let’s create a kinder, gentler world—one connection at a time.

The Memorial Wall

At Tom’s Walk, we’ve created a heartfelt space called The Memory Wall—a place to remember those we’ve lost to mental health struggles, including suicide and drug overdose.

This wall is about love and celebrating the lives of friends, family, and loved ones who were taken too soon.

If you’d like to have someone special remembered on The Memory Wall, we invite you to reach out and share their name and story. Let’s honour them together—with love, light, and remembrance.
